LET THEM BE & LET GO

You keep hoping they want to be better to you and value you the way you deserve, BUT you finally realize it's not going to happen in this lifetime. You give them chance after chance to change, but the disappointing outcome is "rinse & repeat"--years later. You sometimes get the courage to speak up, but then they make excuses and hurt you again. So, do you give up or keep getting hurt by them?

MAYBE IT'S TIME TO WALK AWAY?

MAYBE it's time to "let them be and let go" of the wish of them being better to you. Time and history has proven they're never gonna change. It's time to refuse to let this emotional wound control you anymore. It's time to accept that they are who they are and NOT what you hoped they would be. It's time to find new people (your tribe) who truly care about you and will make you feel safe, seen, and heard--who value, respect, and appreciate you.

Are you ready to LET GO and give up the hope that the past could have been different and the future will get better with them?

Letting go mantra/affirmation: I release all the pain they caused me. I no longer carry the burden of their choices. I forgive, not because they deserve it, but because I deserve peace.

Forgiveness is not forgetting, it's choosing freedom over resentment.

I accept who they are and I release who I wanted them to be. I honor my worth by setting new boundaries. I let go with clarity, with compassion, and with courage. I release all the disappointments, all the sadness, resentment, yearning, and heaviness in my heart. And I forgive myself for all the moments my mind spent spinning on why I let this happen again.

Just remember, HIGH tolerance of being treated poorly, LOWERS and DEBITS your self-worth, self-respect, and self-confidence. Choose people who build you up, not break you down--you already have life and your own self doing enough of that.

When people keep showing you how much they don't value you, believe them.
